Best Phone Conversation – EVER!

While sitting at my desk weeding through my emails and sipping my morning cup of coffee, my cell phone rings.

*Ring*

I flip open the phone open to answer…..

Me: “Hello”

Girl: “Umm hello?”

Me: “Yeah, hi?” (not recongnizing the voice nor the caller id number)

Girl: “Yeah..uh ….this is Becky….I’m calling my phone….uh…do you know where it is?”

Me: *laughing* “No you’re not. You’re calling MY phone and I can’t help you with the location of yours.”

Girl: “Oh uh……..your phone?!? Uh is this 514 – xxx-xxxxx”

Me: “Nope – the phone number is correct but you are calling the 617 area code – not 514.”

Girl: “Oh, I must still be drunk then.”

Me: “Uhh…ok….well, then….If I see your phone – I’ll tell it to call you!”

*click*

Yup – that was fun! *sigh*
